Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date: September 2, 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to GentleDraw online education, proprietary certification programs, specialty courses, credential-related fees, and institutional education unless a checkout page, order confirmation, or signed agreement states different terms.
1. Review before purchasing
Before purchase, review the course description, eligibility requirements, price, access period, assessment requirements, technology needs, and these refund terms. GentleDraw programs are time-limited digital offerings, and access may begin promptly after enrollment.
2. Preorders
A preorder may be canceled for a full refund before course access or other preorder benefits are released to the purchaser. Once access or any substantive preorder benefit is delivered, the rules for digital course purchases below apply.
If GentleDraw cancels a preordered program or does not make it available within the release period stated at purchase, the purchaser may elect a refund of the amount paid for the undelivered program. A change to a release estimate caused by events outside our reasonable control will be communicated when practicable.
3. Digital courses and certification programs
Because digital content and platform access may be delivered promptly, course and certification-program fees are nonrefundable once login access, course materials, or any substantive program content has been delivered or accessed, whichever occurs first, except where law requires otherwise.
Before access is delivered, a purchaser may request cancellation by emailing Info@GentleDraw.com. A cancellation request is effective when received, but we cannot guarantee cancellation if access is automatically issued before the request arrives.
Failure to begin or complete a course, insufficient time, change of schedule, loss of internet access, device incompatibility, failure to satisfy eligibility or assessment requirements, or failure to earn a credential does not create a right to a refund.
4. Access periods and extensions
The course page or order confirmation states the access period. Where the stated period is 15 calendar days, it begins on the date course access is granted unless the offer expressly provides a different start date.
Expiration of the access period does not constitute cancellation by GentleDraw. Learners are responsible for planning completion within the allotted time.
Where permitted, one seven-calendar-day extension may be purchased for the same learner and course. Current planned extension fees are:
- GentleDraw Practitioner Certification Program: $150;
- GentleDraw Fundamentals: $100; and
- another course: the extension fee, if any, displayed when the extension is offered.
An extension fee is nonrefundable once the extension begins. Purchasing an extension does not waive assessment, completion, conduct, or credential requirements. Additional extensions are not guaranteed and may be declined.
If a verified platform outage attributable to GentleDraw or its course platform materially prevents access for a substantial portion of an active access period, contact us promptly. The usual remedy is restored or extended access proportionate to the interruption, not a cash refund, unless required by law or the Service cannot reasonably be delivered.
5. Duplicate or unauthorized charges
Contact Info@GentleDraw.com promptly if you believe you were charged twice or a charge was not authorized. Confirmed duplicate charges will be refunded. We may request information reasonably necessary to investigate an unauthorized-charge report and protect the account.
6. Credential, renewal, and recertification fees
Application, assessment, renewal, recertification, replacement, or review fees are nonrefundable once the applicable review, assessment, credential term, or administrative work begins, except where law requires otherwise or GentleDraw is unable to provide the purchased process.
Current planned credential fees include $150 for annual renewal and $250 for five-year recertification. The fee and requirements presented when due control. These fees are not automatically charged unless an auto-renewing option is clearly disclosed and affirmatively accepted.
Revocation, suspension, expiration, or denial of a credential for failure to satisfy applicable requirements does not entitle the learner to a refund.
7. Institutional education and group purchases
Institutional programs, group enrollments, implementation projects, live sessions, travel, and consulting are governed by the cancellation and rescheduling provisions in the applicable proposal, order form, statement of work, or signed agreement. If no signed agreement addresses a cancellation, the parties will work in good faith to allocate nonrecoverable platform, preparation, travel, and third-party costs already incurred. No institutional cancellation is effective until acknowledged in writing by GentleDraw.
Unused seats in a group purchase are nonrefundable unless the written offer states otherwise. An institution may request substitution of an eligible learner before that learner receives access, subject to program rules.
8. Promotions and price changes
Promotional codes have no cash value and are not refundable separately. A later sale or price reduction does not create a right to a retroactive adjustment. Refunds for qualifying transactions will not exceed the amount actually paid.
9. How approved refunds are issued
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when practicable. GentleDraw will initiate an approved refund within a reasonable period, but the time for the credit to appear depends on the payment processor and financial institution. We are not responsible for processing delays controlled by those parties.
10. How to request help or cancellation
Email Info@GentleDraw.com with:
- purchaser name;
- account email;
- order number, if available;
- course or Service name; and
- a brief description of the request.
Nothing in this Policy limits a refund or cancellation right that cannot lawfully be waived.
