GentleDraw™ legal information
Cookie Policy
Effective date: September 2, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies may be used on method.gentledraw.com (the “Method Site”). It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website or service stores on or reads from a browser or device. Related technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, software development kits, and similar tools. These technologies can support security, remember settings, measure performance, or support advertising, depending on how they are configured.
2. Current Method Site practice
As of the effective date, the public Method Site does not intentionally deploy advertising cookies, advertising pixels, or nonessential analytics cookies. The Site is primarily informational and links visitors to separate destinations for certification and patient services.
Our hosting and security providers may use strictly necessary technologies to deliver pages, balance traffic, detect abuse, prevent fraud, diagnose errors, or maintain security. These technologies are used because the Site cannot be reliably and securely provided without them.
3. Categories that may apply
Strictly necessary
These technologies support core delivery, network management, security, fraud prevention, and requested functions. They cannot always be disabled through a Site preference tool, although browser settings may affect them.
Functional
Functional technologies remember a choice or preference. The current public Method Site does not intentionally use optional functional cookies, but they may be introduced if visitors request a feature that needs them.
Analytics
Analytics technologies help understand traffic and performance. The current public Method Site does not intentionally run nonessential analytics cookies. If nonessential analytics are added, this Policy and any legally required consent mechanism will be updated before or when the technology is introduced.
Advertising
Advertising technologies may support interest-based advertising or measurement across services. The current public Method Site does not intentionally use them. If advertising technology is added, we will update this Policy and provide any legally required notice, consent, or opt-out method.
4. Separate certification portal and linked services
The GentleDraw certification portal, payment processor, social-media services, and other linked websites are separate services and may place their own cookies when you visit them. Their notices and preference tools govern their independent use of cookies. Leaving the Method Site or selecting an external link may therefore result in different cookie practices.
5. Your choices
You can use browser settings to block, delete, or receive notice about cookies. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent a page or feature from working correctly. Browser controls affect the browser and device where they are set and may need to be repeated elsewhere.
Where legally required and technically applicable, we will recognize valid opt-out preference signals for practices subject to those signals. Because the current Method Site does not intentionally use advertising cookies or sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there may be no applicable advertising preference to change on the Method Site itself.
6. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when technologies, vendors, features, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated when required.
