Accessibility Statement
Effective date: September 2, 2026
GentleDraw is committed to making its public information, online education, and communications accessible to people with disabilities. Accessibility supports the dignity, participation, and patient-centered values at the heart of the GentleDraw Method.
Our accessibility goal
We endeavor to design and maintain method.gentledraw.com in alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one-time certification. This statement does not represent that every page or third-party component has been independently audited or formally certified as conforming.
Our efforts may include:
- semantic headings and page structure;
- keyboard-accessible navigation and controls;
- visible focus indicators;
- sufficient color contrast and readable text;
- text alternatives for meaningful images;
- captions or transcripts for time-based media where appropriate;
- clear labels, instructions, and error messages; and
- testing with common browsers, zoom settings, and assistive technologies.
Course and credential accommodations
If you need an accessibility accommodation for course materials, an assessment, a live session, or another part of a GentleDraw education program, contact us as early as practicable. We will engage in an individualized process and provide reasonable accommodations where required and feasible without changing an essential program requirement or compromising assessment integrity.
Requesting an accommodation will not result in an added fee. Because course access may be time-limited, contact us before or promptly after enrollment when possible. We will not require you to disclose more information than reasonably necessary to evaluate and arrange the request.
Third-party platforms
Some functions may be delivered through third-party platforms, including the GentleDraw certification portal, payment services, embedded media, or linked social platforms. We do not control every accessibility feature of those providers, but we welcome notice of a barrier and will try to identify an accessible alternative or work with the provider when reasonably possible.
Feedback and assistance
If you have difficulty accessing content or using a feature, or if you need information in another accessible format, please contact us and include:
- the page, course, or feature involved;
- a brief description of the barrier;
- the assistive technology or browser used, if you wish to share it; and
- the format or assistance that would be useful.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility messages within two business days and to provide a substantive response or reasonable status update as soon as practicable. Response time may vary based on the nature of the request and whether a third-party provider is involved.
Ongoing review
We periodically review content and prioritize corrections based on severity, frequency, and impact. As the Site and education programs change, we may update this statement and our accessibility practices.
